HOLD Full-Finger Training Gloves, $35.00
Situations below are illustrations, not product photographs.
Wash them after every workout, then bring them back for the next one.
Even when your hands sweat, the thin palm and breathable back help the gloves feel less stuffy.
Keep your hands covered when using shared gym equipment.
Fine fibers close the gaps, so the palm stays put on your skin.
The orderly back fabric gives heat a path out, like a highway.
Full-finger coverage keeps bare hands off shared equipment.
About HOLD
I’m Yongsen, the founder of HOLD. I wipe down equipment at the gym, but then I want to clean my hands too. Repeating that at every station made me rethink the training gloves I’d stopped wearing.
Our first HOLD gloves are a full-finger pair of my own that I can wash after use. We started with an unpadded palm and everyday training in mind, and we’ll keep improving them through real use and feedback.
We made two hundred pairs. One colour, one size, one unpadded palm — decided, not settled for. The two hundred people wearing them are the ones who tell me what the second run should be.
You carry none of that risk. A hundred days to change your mind, and I refund what you paid.
Ice-silk: 83.6% nylon, 16.4% spandex. It stretches with your hand and lets air through.
Microfiber, 100% nylon, with no coating and no print.
Thumb and index fingertips are made for touchscreen use, though how well a screen responds varies by device.
I tested samples on my own hands, dry and damp, before production. I won’t tell you they will feel the same on your hands as they do on mine. I will tell you exactly what they are.
One pair of white HOLD full-finger training gloves.
One Size, cut to feel relaxed.
HOLD is cut generously through the palm and fingers, so it is intended to feel relaxed rather than compressive. Slimmer hands toward the lower end of the range may notice more room, and hands with the same measurements can still feel the fit a little differently.
A. Hand circumference — Wrap the tape around the widest part below the finger bases. Exclude the thumb.
B. Hand length — Measure from the middle fingertip to the wrist crease.
| Measurement | in |
|---|---|
| Recommended hand circumference (A) | 6.7–8.3 |
| Glove length, measured flat | 8.3 |
| Middle finger, measured flat | 3.1 |
Hand circumference (A) is the measurement that decides the fit. Compare the glove’s flat length with your hand length (B).
Measure both hands and use the larger measurements.
Put on both gloves, open and close your hands, then lightly hold a stationary bar. The palm should stay aligned without noticeable rotation or bunching. This check takes a few seconds and is worth doing the first time you put them on.
